"O mighty Goddess of the Winds, We gather here upon this boat, swaying with the tides, With gratitude in our hearts, we offer this sacred smoke, As a humble offering to invoke your benevolent cloak.
Blessed Goddess, ruler of the gusts and gales, We beseech thee for your favor as our ship sets sails, Grant us, dear deity, your gentle zephyrs and gales fair, That we may navigate these waters with utmost care.
With every puff, we honor your divine power, May our joint's sweet smoke carry our intentions hour by hour, May it rise on wisps of wind to reach your celestial abode, And prompt you, gracious Goddess, to guide our vessel's ode.
Oh, mistress of the breezes, mistress of the sea, We ask for your blessings as we embark with glee, Grant us safe passage, dear Goddess, on this journey's course, With winds at our backs, and tides filled with joyful force.
In the name of the winds, the seas, and all that dwell within, We offer this smoke, this prayer, this solemn din, Hear us, oh Goddess, as our voices rise on the air, Grant us your favor, and we shall forever hold you dear.
So mote it be."
